the run of the exhaust downpipes.

A very nicely illustrated job by Tim and made feasible by the removal of the lower panels. On our trip to Yorkshire, your oil temp was lower than mine except for when we rode through Bradford in the rain: at that point, my oil cooler was also being water cooled!
The shroud was there to protect the sensor and soft alloy pipework from the cack that gets kicked up from the front wheel. The 180 degree bend is really exposed so I thought it best.
